Two brothers, one wholesale desk, and a simple rule: answer the phone and stand behind the SKU.
Platinum Supply Group started with two brothers, Mike and Sam. They didn't set out to build software—they set out to fix a problem they kept running into on job sites and in shop conversations: getting the right industrial and commercial product at a fair wholesale price, without the runaround.
Both had spent years around trades and facilities work—watching crews wait on callbacks, chase down substitutions, and lose time over parts that should have been straightforward to source. They saw how much trust still matters in this business: a supplier who answers the phone, knows the SKU, and stands behind what they sell. That's the kind of partner they wished they could call more often.
So they built Platinum Supply Group as a wholesale operation first—relationships, inventory know-how, and straight answers—and grew the rest from there so customers could get pricing and line items without jumping through retail-style checkout. The point was always the same: build a list, get a real number, keep the job moving.
Today Mike and Sam still think of the company as a family-run shop at heart—just one that can scale with the brands and lines their customers need. Their goal hasn't changed: treat every account like it matters, because in this line of work, it does.
